Mom, momma, mommy, vroom, whoa, and up. I thought my older two would never talk now my 9 year old never stops and my almost three year olds vocab has exploded this month from a few words to probably 75
DS has three words he uses all the time (uh oh, daddy, and doggie) and two that show up occasionally (paci and night night). Mommy was his first word but it quickly disappeared and I haven't heard it in months. That part is kindof sad.
mummum (more), ne ne (cat/kitty), na na (dog/doggie)
I think it's funny he signs shoes because he hates wearing them. He knows all these signs from baby signing time, and maybe more, it's hard to think of them without a list of the ones from the video
"Eeez" for cheese, "uice" for juice, uh oh, and that's about it! Tons of babbling right now, she constantly telling us really interesting stories, and occasionally points for emphasis!
@Lilygrace48 - that's how my son was! Around 16-18 months they all the sudden turned to real words and he had a language explosion. He is still a chatterbox.
DD has a lot of words. It really amazes me. As I just told the pedi I stopped counting at 25. And she has about 10 signs. I really think it's b/c of DS that she has picked up so much so fast. This weekend she started saying "thank you" which I love!
DD has a TON of words. It's unreal to me. She's also REALLY good an mimicry because she will repeat words we say that she has never said before and be able to say them quite clear. She doesn't retain them unless she uses them regularly, but is able to repeat them if we say them. Her daily word bank is at about 30 words, which is a major explosion since she was saying "dada" for everything seemingly only 2 months ago.
Mommy, daddy, Guinness (our dog), grandma, grandpa, pop pop, truck, bird, shoes, toes, uh oh, bye, hello, milk, please, "buppies" (bubble guppies), dog, ball, bowl, cheese, nightnight, boo. Most recently he has started saying carter, the name of the other little boy in his class at daycare. Honestly only in the past two weeks I'd say has he started saying the majority of these while associating them with what they actually are. It is so much more fun now that he is starting to really communicate where we can understand him.
Thank You, bye, hi, hi there, kitty cat, kitty, dad, dadda, mom, mama, gmom mom(grandma), what's that, Whose this, ball, more and milk. The signs she does are please, more, thank you and milk she usually says the word at the same time except for please. She raises her arm up high above her head and waves and blows kisses when she goes to bed, bye bye, or I leave her at daycare. She pants like a dog and oinks for a pig. But calls every animal a kitty or kitty cat.
