"Fall" Foods

I'm totally splurging on a candy corn Oreo cookie right now.  Anyone else like these?
I sorta have a pet peeve, though. I wish they used the normal original chocolate Oreos with the candy corn cream.  Why do they always do those fake golden Oreos with a lot of the special edition Oreos?

Same with M&M's.. they often use white chocolate.  I want chocolate, dammit.
I might have gotten candy corn M&M's, too.   Along with pumpkin spice (these are chocolate).

Anyone else like funky fall foods?  I love this time of the year for the crazy foods.

Re: "Fall" Foods

  • I LOVE anything pumpkin flavored, and most things apple/caramel flavored.
I'm really disappointed in the pumpkin m and m's.  They don't taste pumpkiny at all to me, they just taste like regular m and m's.
I did find some pumpkin spice bread from Pepperidge Farms (with their cinnamon and raisin breads) today at the store, and that was really good, although still not very pumpkiny.

I was pretty disappointed, too.  I can taste a little "spice" aftertaste, but it's not pumpkin.
I love anything apple, pumpkin, candy corn.. mmm

I got the pumpkin spice M & M's, pumpkin spice coffee syrup, pumpkin cheesecake Pepperidge farm cookies.   B-)
  • Cheesecake factory has their pumpkin cheesecake this time of year.  I never usually order cheesecake, not usually a huge fan.  But I do eat an entire slice of pumpkin cheesecake at least once every fall.  Delish!

  • I've been to TJs twice in the last two weeks looking for pumpkin pancake mix and they don't have it yet!  I am eager to start having that for breakfast again!  Other than that, pumpkin drinks are coffee shops are pretty tasty too.  I am not a fan of the m&ms, oreos, etc.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

  • I love fall foods.

I am so sad that my daughter can't have candy corn---we can't find any that are manufactured in a peanut free factory. Boo.

I LOVE pumpkin coffee. I made pumpkin muffins last week--DH and Reese ate half a dozen in a day. I guess they were good :)

Pumpkin Spice M&Ms are gross, but PSA, the pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kisses? AWESOME.
I could not agree less about the pumpkin spice kisses.  I'm not a very discerning candy consumer, and I thought those were positively vile.  I had no idea pumpkin spice M&Ms existed, though!

I feel like I've almost always started a new diet right as pumpkin spice latte season hits, so this year I'm kind of excited to be breastfeeding two babies and therefore have an excuse to EAT ALL THE THINGS.  Bring on the pumpkin cheesecake!

  • I love pretty much anything pumpkin, apple and caramel flavored. Pumpkin cheesecake is to die for. I had it for the first time last year when SFIL brought it for thanksgiving. Soo yummy.

  • I think those candy corn m&ms are good, but SO sweet because they are white chocolate.
I am making pumpkin bread with DD today and can't wait to eat some!
Good to know about the pumpkin/harvest/whatever they are m&ms not being good.

  • The kisses, m n m's, and Oreos sound gross :-/. I don't think I'd try any of those. I like the pumpkin spice coffees or creamer for my coffee at home ok. I'm not big on pumpkin pie, but there are other baked pumpkin items that are decent. My mom had pumpkin cookies last weekend that were yummy....I once made some pumpkin and white chocolate muffins that were pretty good! I prefer the Carmel and/or apple stuff better I think.

I'm just excited that the apple cider donuts are back.  Mmmmmmmmmmm!
Mmmm. My BIL's farm has them year round, but they taste best in the fall!

Also, real, apple cider from a farm. Not the apple juice crap they sell at grocery stores and starbucks.
Yessss.  I love real apple cider.  I can't wait to go to the orchards this year and get donuts and cider.

Mmm apple cider doughnuts and hot apple cider fresh from the farm. I soo want some right now eventhough it is supposed to be 90+ degrees outside. I can't wait to go to the apple orchard this year. I foresee a few trips.

Ohh and apple butter. One of the orchards in our area has a huge apple butter festival every year in the beginning of October.

I have chili and soup all year. Even if it's 100 out.  I just like them too much not to!
