Re-ferberizing tonight! Yikes! - UPDATE

A week or two ago, I tried to re-Ferberize but underestimated how long my LO can cry for.  Plus, he was a bit sick then.  I swore off sleep training until I got inspired by Clovesjellybeans sleep-training post. 

I am doing it tonight because DH is out of town on business and I only have to deal with one whiner/crier instead of two!  Wish me lots of luck, and even more, more willpower than my LO!  Hopefully I will have a successful update!

    JoNi2010 GOOOD LUCK!! It was much easier when I had DH on board.  I hope it goes well tonight so you can tell him about it and he can help you out with it tomorrow night.  The first night is the hardest...you can do it!! :D

    We started yesterday after the posts as well.  

    We put him in the crib, he woke up and cried and grunted for less than 10 minutes...then asleep.  We were pretty good before, so I'm not too surprised. 

    Last night he was up twice and I am working on night weaning as well.  He only cried for 5 minutes when I laid him back down last night.

    Good luck.  I'm so hoping this is worth it like it has been with the others.

    BFP #2 Aug 2011 Clomid 50mg+Met missed m/c found 9w5d | cytotec 10.26.11 
    BFP #3 - CD36 - Jan. 2012 - 100mg Clomid + 2000met-  Baby Boy born 10.06.12 with 1 in a billion CHD. Perfect otherwise.

    BFP #4:  O'd on CD25 (Aug. 2014).  DD May 6, 2015. RCS planned.

    He woke up his usual time of midnight and I went in at 1,3,5, 10, 15, and 30minute checks.  He was very angry of course.  He cried and screamed until 1:30ish and finally fell asleep at 1:45am.  He woke up at 5:40am.  It was within an hour of his usual wake up time so I went ahead and nursed him.  He was so tired that after diaper change he fell back asleep until 7am! 

    I hope tonight goes better!!  Thanks all for asking!!

    @JoNi2010 Great!  If it's any motivation...tonight is night #5 and it took...ONE minute of crying and then she was quiet..and asleep in 5 minutes.  I watched it all on the monitor...it's a beautiful thing.  Keep at it, you're doing great!! :)
