DD turned five months yesterday and is just about crawling! She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks and can get around by scooting on her belly pretty well. Are any of your March babies crawling yet?
DS does this too! he rocks and rocks, and he can move backwards but not forwards. I keep thinking one of these days he's going to get it. We will see Now i guess I better REALLY babyproof.
My LO is getting up on all fours but then doesn't know what to do once he's up. He still doesn't roll from tummy to back and can sit up supported with his boppy. Go figure. I'm not looking forward to the sleep regression this new skill is sure to bring. He is 25 weeks old.
Not crawling yet but started rocking on her hands and knees a couple of days ago. I was very surprised since she only recently started sitting unassisted! I'm excited to see her crawl for the first time, but dreading it at the same time!
DS has been sitting unassisted since 4 months. But hates doing anything on his belly or all fours. I wouldn't be surprised if he skips crawling, and goes straight to walking. He just gets mad whenever I put him on his belly, or on all fours.
awwww how cute! My son pushes himself up with his arms, and he pushes up with his toes, but he hasn't quite grasped the concept of crawling. I don't think he understands he can pedal with his feet while pushing with his arms. Hehe!
DD is five and a half months and is scooting (on all fours) backwards and is very frustrated with it sometimes. Also she seems to really want to use her feet instead of her knees so maybe that is what is stopping her up? She gets on her hands and knees and bounces but she also gets up on her hands and feet. She spins around on her belly and she uses furniture to kick off from and launch herself forward or pull on to drag herself forward.
Mine both seem close to crawling, but nowhere close to sitting unassisted yet. They are rolling from back to stomach pretty easily, but start freaking out after they're on their stomach for a few minutes.
LO is 2-3 weeks into some sort of forward mobility. she rocks on all fours, then kind of leap frogs forward..or scoots on her belly...or army crawls. all modes but standard crawling. she like revs up on all fours, pushes her butt back, then launches...it's pretty funny.
Little Riley-our first little girl coming March 1st, 2013 (or sometime around there;)
That's what DD was doing, and still does some, but she has mastered the army crawl now and prefers it. She is all over the place. She actually started chasing after my dogs the past couple days.
LO is 5.5 months and is sitting unassisted and just this week graduated from the army crawl and started crawling. She's driving the daycare nuts... LOL She was rolling over at 12 weeks so I guess it's par for the course, but to be honest I'm not looking forward to having to babyproof so early!
This boy is seriously crawling, like coordinated, belly of the ground crawling. He spent the last few days dialing it in and now, about a week shy of 6 months he is crawling. Crazy!

So crazy how much they change daily! Now baby B is legit crawling! I've had to move the dog food bowls and I think baby gates will be my next baby related purchase!
Re: Crawling
DS1 didn't start crawling until 8 months, and even then only did it for two weeks and stated walking.
I know all babies are different but I'm expecting crawling to come closer to that time.
