Do you find that they go through "word phases"? For example, around 11 months DS called everything "dada." Eventually he narrowed down the meaning to DH, and then everything was "diaper." Same story, he figured out what a diaper actually is. Now it's "baby." I'm assuming this is a typical speech thing?
