Baby Jogger Tray

We have the City Mini GT and I want to get the tray for it so DD can eat snacks and have her drink close by BUT I read many poor reviews on it saying that it is too high for most kids. If you have this on your Baby Jogger stroller, would you recommend it?

Re: Baby Jogger Tray

  • The biggest problem I have with the tray is that with the GT seat-back all the way up, it is still at too much of a recline to keep my kid harnessed in and allow her to reach the entire tray (and she is a big kid).

She certainly can reach and like to have it; she pulls the tray closed before we even buckle her in. I just loosen the harness if she needs to reach the whole tray to eat or play while we are stopped.

  • We have the same stroller and the tray- it's fine.  DD can reach it no problem, although like PP I do wish the seat could be up a little more- would make it a little more functional.  I guess the tray is a little high, but I think most kids after about a year would be able to reach it.
  • We have the tray.  It is a tad high, but my peanut 1 year old baby can reach it just fine.

  • Thanks for the opinions. I ended up getting a tray and it seems to work pretty well. If the seat could be more upright it would be perfect!
