"Are you a student?"

MH and I just got back from grocery shopping. After piling our cart high and getting lots of things we don't normally buy, we got to the cash register. The young male cashier asked if either of us were students, and when we answered 'No', (we're both honest to a fault), the cashier looked at my belly and said "Well, they will be!" and gave us the student discount! 

Little things can brighten any day. I'd called in sick today because of the heat and my heart had been racing all day and was not happy about grocery shopping at all. We saved over $10.00 on  our grocery bill, and though that's not much, it really made me feel good!! Thank God for compassionate cashiers! :)

    That's wonderful! I've always held into my college ID and use it for movie discounts. Last week, I realized I probably won't be able to get away with that much longer!

    IVF#1 w/ICSI: 3/18 BCP, Lupron down reg, Follistim 300IU, LDHCG 10units, Lupron 5units, Ovidrel trigger on 3/18. ER 3/21
    8 retrieved, 5 mature, 3 smaller no fertilization w/IVF. 3/5 fertilized w/ICSI. Day 5 Fresh transfer scheduled 3/26 or day3 on Saturday if any arrest.

    I won't lie, I still have my college ID in my wallet and use it for bars and such LOL. I live by several very large colleges so there's tons of college deals everywhere :-P
