MH and I just got back from grocery shopping. After piling our cart high and getting lots of things we don't normally buy, we got to the cash register. The young male cashier asked if either of us were students, and when we answered 'No', (we're both honest to a fault), the cashier looked at my belly and said "Well, they will be!" and gave us the student discount!
Little things can brighten any day. I'd called in sick today because of the heat and my heart had been racing all day and was not happy about grocery shopping at all. We saved over $10.00 on our grocery bill, and though that's not much, it really made me feel good!! Thank God for compassionate cashiers!
