Today I turn 35. I remember sitting at the Cheesecake Factory on my 30th birthday, I was away at grad school on that particular day. I remember watching a father wheeling his baby in a stroller outside and realizing that day that I was ready for babies. I went home and looked at The Nest Babies on the Brain board and quickly learned that I had 5 good years of fertility left (or so I thought). As long as I was under 35, things should be easy.
That was 5 years, one miserable divorce, one wonderful remarriage and $40,000 of IF treatments ago. I can't help but feel like today some tipping point in my life occurred and my fertility is now sliding away at an accelerated rate. Do I have to switch over to the TTC after 35 board now? Should I switch from my regular PNV to some older woman brand? When I read all of the statistics for my RE, they're grouped by ages...and I am now in the older category.
I'm up for FET #1 next month, and I know I should be grateful for my high AMH and low FSH, DH's awesome SA, and the best and strongest marriage I could have ever hoped for. I guess there is no real meaning to this post...just wondering how anyone else handled a milestone birthday.
Me- 35 Dx endo; DH- 33 no probs.

PAIF/SAIF and everyone is welcome. If I can make even one person's journey less painful, I will consider my experience here successful. Thank you to all for sharing their stories, the intimate details of their lives, their knowledge, and their hearts. I hope this experience changes me, always for the better.

Whoever watches the wind will not plant;whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God,the Maker of all things. <?xml:namespace prefix = o />
Seriously, though. I'm 36 now and think I felt about the same as you did at hitting the dreaded 35 mark! The thing is, my RE continues to tell me how young I am. And I keep asking him if he remembers my age! But he insists I am, and not to add age to my list of worries.
So, take that for what it's worth! And happy birthday.

Happy Birthday. Yep, when I turned 35 in December I felt just like you. And cried off and on for a good week. But my AFC is actually higher this month than the last two treatment cycles and I keep telling myself my ovaries did not take a dive that day. It was just another day.
Stay here...I'm 38, and I didn't go to the 35 board. I'm not just 35 and TTC, we have IF, here is where I belong. You have a lot going for you...good labs, great sperm...stay positive.
Other than dealing with IF, I sure hope you had a very special birthday!
I think the milestones of any birthday get to be hard during IF treatment. I turned 36 the day I got a BFN from my first (completed) IVF. It really felt hard--and scary. But you will get past this--like the previous posts, your ovaries don't know the difference between a few months ago and now and it is just a number. Hang in there!

Happy Birthday, lady.
IF makes birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays that used to be joyful bittersweet, with each marking the passing time, but there is joy waiting for each of us on the other side, however we happen to get there.
Happy Birthday! I too, will be celebrating a birthday in 9 days. I have been dreading the years as I get closer to 35, will be turning 34 this year. But I am grateful to still have a chance at this. Like @ThoseThreeWords said, you have frosties of a 34 yr old. I too am hoping I will have healthy embryos of a 33year old
I hope you had a wonderful birthday regardless of the number! I am quickly approaching that birthday too but my RE still insists that I am young and everything is great, so I'm just trying to roll with it.
