I really need advice on transitioning DD to WCM in a sippy cup

My DD is going to be 1 on Sept 28.  She drinks water from her straw sippy cup well but she is still drinking formula from her bottles.  She gets 3- 8oz bottles a day.  Can someone please tell me how to transition her to WCM in her cup?  I am not sure whether I should wait till she turns one or just start this process sooner.  TIA!

    We transitioned to wcm before we transitioned to sippy cups. I don't know why we did it that way, it just worked. I think we were a little late to the cup game though. DS took four bottles a day until he was 13 months.

    We mixed about 1/3 milk with the formula, then 2/3 milk, then all milk. Once we got to all milk his milk intake per bottle increased dramatically so I think we would have been fine just switching to milk. When he was taking milk well we dropped a bottle and then we cut all bottles cold turkey. His intake from the sippy/straw cup was only a few ounces at first but soon he figured out that was all he was getting and he started taking more. Now he takes up to ten ounces at once from the straw cup.

    We transitioned the week of her birthday by giving her WCM in a nuby sippy cup with the soft spout and she did just fine. We leaned her in her Boppy like she did with her bottle and she didn't seem to know the difference. We alternated between formula and WCM throughout the day until our formula ran out.

    Cold turkey.  Right after his 1st birthday, we got rid of all bottles and I was only offering milk in his sippy cup.  I did buy him a different cup because he wouldn't drink out of his water sippy cup.  We went with a straw cup for milk and after 2.5 weeks of him not really drinking much and eating a lot more, he would suck down a whole cup.  Now he would drink milk all day if I let him.

    My son was also drinking water from his straw sippy cup well before the transition, so we just put his milk in a straw sippy cup too.  We transitioned before 1, so we were putting breastmilk in the cup, but same idea.
