Happy tuesday!! I just wanted to say that this forum is a lot more friendly than the TTGP forum. Did anyone else experience this?

Many of us are active on multiple boards.
It's pretty poor form to put down other boards on the same website, BTW.
As far as calling people bitter, i meant that for the member that was accusing me of bragging when i was just simply answering the question.
I can assure you that i am not a rude person. I just don't like being attacked.
And i've been going back and forth between the 2 forums and noticed that some members are rude. Members posting "does this mean i'm pregnant?" Get pretty rude answers. You can be honest without being mean.
And I agree, you can be honest without putting people down, and sometimes the snark can be a little heavy. But once you've been around long enough, you'll realize that TTGP gets "Am I pregnant?" posts all. the. time. The fact is, nobody can tell you if you're pregnant, and it can get irksome repeating that all the time, especially when the newbie blog is pinned to the top specifically to try and avoid those types of threads.
Seriously, the ladies over there can be super supportive and awesome if you give them a chance. We do not mind newbies. But you do have to have a bit of a thick skin to post there, and if it's not for you, that's okay too. Nothing wrong with that. Hope you stick around TB anyway!

I'm new here too, but even in these few months I've been around there are A LOT of "I'm experiencing <insert symptom here> I did not test/my test was negative, am I preggars?" posts and it is mind-blowing how many people come here looking for someone to take them in their arms, pet their hair and whisper in their ears, "Dear sweet lamb, even though your pregnancy test is negative, because your boobs are huge and you could go for a pizza right now, you are indeed pregnant. You are so special that basic medical science that you learned in 7th grade doesn't apply to you!"
TB gives straight up real answers without coddling, with a side of sarcasm sprinkled in where needed. If that's not people's style, so be it. I am new here, and I have felt totally welcomed and have learned a lot and received lots of great advice.

He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
