DHA & prenatals

What kind of prenatal vitamins are you taking? I am taking the one a day prenatal with DHA (separate pill) and after I take the DHA pill I burp up fish for HOURS after I take it. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't remember this with DD and it is absolutely disgusting.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I burped fish with any non plant DHA except I am doing the CVS prenatals with tuna based DHA and I do not have fish burps. Try those?

I'm taking these because it's only one pill, and it's got a lot higher daily value than some I saw on the shelf.

I take the GNC brand prenatals and DHA. I take the DHA at night though and I don't get fishy burps.

Take your pill right before bed. It will be digested befor you wake so no burps!

I agree. I take before bed to prevent nausea and fishy burps :-)

I take the Whole Foods prenatal before bed. It has DHA from seaweed, but I probably won't buy another bottle because you have to take THREE huge horse pills. I'm going back to the Nature Made line that's at Costco when I'm done that has the DHA. Never had any problems!

I take the target prenatal and DHA. I've never had fish burps with those.

I take the Trader Joe's Prenatal. It doesn't include DHA so I take a separate DHA also from Trader Joe's. Like others have said I take both at night and I am fine by the morning!

I take walgreens brand. The DHA is plant derived so no fish burps. Pre pregnancy I took Krill Oil and never had fish burps with that either. I do have a huge bottle of fish oil in my cupboard that needs to go in the trash because I will never take another- nasty!
