One of my friends has a daughter, Addy, who is in B's class at daycare. She and Bryson started a little love connection, then "broke up" for about a week. Addy decided to play with other boys, so Bryson moved on to another girl. I learned yesterday that they're back together. Addy was able to bully the other boys, so she came back to Bryson because he's the only boy she can't push around. Apparently he "talks" to her if she's upset and calms her down, and they play together instead of Addy just stealing his stuff. Ha. I had no idea 1-year-olds had such drama. When we got there yesterday, Addy squealed and Bryson zoomed over to her.
Sunday night, B took his first steps. This morning, I found out he took three more yesterday to get to Addy!
On the way in to school this morning, I said, "What are you going to do today, Stinkbug? Are you going to take Miss Addy on a date?" He looked at me, shook his head yes and very matter-of-factly said, "Yeah." I'm in trouble in about 15 years.
Anybody else have a baby love connection going on?
Dating since 3.8.2008. Married since 6.4.2011. Bryson born on 6.28.2012

So sweet! I'm curious to see if they'll be doing an on-again off-again relationship until they're older. :x
Charlie doesn't have a single love connection, but she likes to find the one little boy wherever we are and stare and smile at them. And then they smile back and she does the shy thing, but keeps looking back.
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event.
