Vacation ideas

So i know its a little early for a "babymoon" but my husband is switching jobs in 1 month and this might be the only chance we get to go away. Any ideas where we should go? Been trying to think of somewhere that would be fun for both of us. Are you planning anything? Thanks ladies!

    Domestic or international? Fly or drive? Sightseeing or relaxation?

    We did Hawaii in April/may (a pre-preg babymoon) and it was amazing. We're going to LBI in jersey for Labor Day weekend. Then a wedding in Bar Harbor Maine in Oct. Other than that nothing planned.

    Cruises are nice! Not sure about the motion sickness Niagara falls is something I plan when I visit Ohio

    We're kind of dorks but we love national parks. We went to Yellowstone in May and it was awesome. It was relaxing and peaceful. Plus, and this may be a deal breaker, but there is no tv in any national park hotels so it really is QT. We are thinking about Yosemite for ours.

    We're going to Italy on Tuesday, we planned it before we found out I was pregnant. I'd really rather stay home on the couch but it'll be good to see my family. Not so much a sexy, romantic vacation with the husband, though.

    I have time off for a 5 day vaca in late September and we still haven't planned it.

    I'm thinking about staying fairly close to home- maybe doing Philly or the Cape.
    When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.

    I second the Riveria Maya/Cancun. I have stayed at the iberostar grand in RM and the Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun and I loved them both. Not your typical cancun party resorts

    Ooopsbaby14 & Mrs550 my husband and I got married at the Barcelo Maya Palace 4 years ago and then went over to the Iberostar Grand for our honeymoon. Love those places! I'm thinking I'll end up visiting my parents in South Carolina at some point before the baby gets here.

    My husband and I are doing an east coast road trip...this was planned before I knew I was pregnant.

    My advice? Go lay on a beach somewhere. That is all I want to do right now!

    We have not even though about doing a babymoon....this is a great idea! We just had our honeymoon 2 months ago in the Riviera Maya, so it's kind of hard to justify another trip right now...but what can I say? I'll take any excuse to travel.

    OP, you got some great suggestions!

    I wanted a relaxing beach and my DH wanted something fun so we compromised and are now going to New Orleans for 3 nights (staying with friends) and then we're going to florida for 4 nights to relax on the beach!

    DH & I also are entertaining Vegas. I want to do relaxing things: shop, spa, dinners, shows. I did want to go to the Caribbean like we do every year but he is nervous leaving the country later in the pregnancy.

    We both have the two weeks surrounding Christmas off, so I want to go somewhere warm then. Key West, Jamaica, and Punta Cana are on my list. We just got married at Now Sapphire in Riviera Maya in May.
