one twin bigger than the other

My twin girls are 5 mths old. Baby A started off a lb bigger than baby B and now baby B weighs more about a lb larger from their 4 mth old appt. Baby B is also more of a solid feel where Baby A feels more petite and light and fragile. The Dr. didn't seem concerned but I just worry since baby A feels more delicate to me. Would you be concerned?

I wouldn't be concerned! Every baby grows at their own pace...as long as they aren't sick or losing weight I wouldn't sweat it!

I wouldn't worry. Baby B was 1/2 a lb lighter (3lbs 3oz vs 3lbs 12 oz at birth). Now Baby B outweighs his brother by a couple pounds. If you pick them up you'd think A was at least 4 lbs smaller then B. There's something in B's build that is solid. And he's got a nice square charlie brown head and chubby sweet cheeks so he looks bigger too. A is built just like my DD and is super light feeling, I can not figure out why.

My point is, they're two totally different kids. It's hard not to compare but I wouldn't worry about it unless one is losing weight (A did that for a bit due to reflux).

My baby A weighs 4 lbs more than my baby B, and both are perfectly healthy.

? Does she eat well and have plenty of wet and dirty diapers? If so, I wouldn't be concerned. Like PPs said, every baby is different; my Baby B is the peanut (consistently in the 5th percentile for all his measurements) and also feels like he has hollow bones or something. He has a great appetite, though, and is just super active and burns everything off kicking, crawling, and climbing all over the place. I actually get annoyed at relatives that say that he has to "catch up" to his brother; they're two different babies and he's healthy--no need to compare him to anyone else!

Baby A does eat well and within the last two weeks I would say her appetite has grown! And def plenty of dirty diapers!! I think it's just that she feels so light compared to her sister it worrys me!!

This. Amelia was 1.5lbs heavier at birth and now at nearly 2.5 is about 2lbs heavier than Owen. They've had times where they've been within a few ounces of each other but I don't see that happening again for a while. She is definitely much more solid while her brother is thinner and seems to be following in their older brother's footsteps with the way he is built.

Mine have always had a weight discrepancy since in utereo. At birth they were exactly 1 lb 1 oz apart and now they are 4 pounds apart. If your doctor isn't concerned and they are healthy, just try to remember that they are 2 individual people who can have different body types/carry weight differently etc. my twin a is solid like DH and twin b is more petite like me...I wouldn't worry too much about it
