I need to buy one for DH's car but I don't want to spend a ton of money. I have the Britax Marathon because I'll drive DS most the time and we'll take my car if we go somewhere together. DH won't transport him as much as me so I don't think I need anything as fancy. Suggestions? Or should I get the Britax Marathon that's on sale at Target for $200 (I get 5% off because I have a Target card).

I will tell you what I don't recommend. We had the Graco Myride65 for DS1, and we hate it.

Hey, just checked out this board for the first time since my son was born! (I was due aug 2012.) We got the Roundabout Classic for like130 and it's pretty great. I think the main differences are that it has a slightly lower upper height/weight limit than the marathon and it doesn't have the "true side impact protection" wings.

we have the Graco My Ride 65 and I love it. I see no issues with it, it works well and is nice and big.

Do you have a newer model? We have two from 2010, and it does not have the cool no-rethread thing. My sister came to visit, and her son was going to ride in it while here, we couldn't get it tight enough. It was so frustrating. Maybe the newer models are better made.

I have a new model, I assume. I bought it a few months ago at Target, I think. I haven't had to adjust the straps yet, so I may be singing a different tune then, as I don't think it has that mechanism. I have no problem getting a tight fit though.

We just got the graco myride 65 and love it. At first I had a hard time readjusting the straps to be tight enough but we figures it out. It's our main seat.
