Good Morning Ladies,
I was hoping to see this thread so I decided to start it. I enjoyed the chat on the last thread.
I'm 10 weeks and just got back from my first midwife appointment. I was scared to look at the scale but it wasn't so bad. I was surprised with another ultrasound today. I am feeling good and Olive Garden for lunch sounds so good right now...lol.
How is everyone doing? When are you due? What's your major craving?

I hope you'll all check out my recipes on Sunday nights. I'm going to start posting (mostly) healthy, tasty recipes every week. Last night I posted about the veggie cheese soup I created. It is divine! I think I called the thread "Best supper EVER".

It seems too soon but my pants are already tight. My belly looks so much bigger. I look more pregnant than my friend who is 18 weeks. Oh well. I actually look forward to looking noticibly pregnant. Since having my son I have gained a lot of weight in my middle and look possibly pregnant even when I wasn't.
Poor fiancé--no sex in over a week and he had to put up with my sob fest on Saturday night about how much I hate our bed. To be fair it is a cheap memory foam that has nearly completely broken down, it's like putting a pillow on a box spring. So for my wedding gift, he let me pick out a Tempurpedic like I have been wanting for ages and it arrives in five days!
Our first doctors visit is tomorrow morning but I don't think they'll do an ultrasound--sounds like a blood draw and chat about health history. But soon! Only another month until my first REAL OB appt
Hi ladies! I'm either 7w4d or 8w4d (going for another dating ultrasound on Friday) with our first.
I've had no real cravings (or many symptoms) the entire time. Although, last night, some leftover chocolate chip pancakes topped with bananas were a must. Otherwise, eating healthy (I usually do this) and just trying to make sure I get enough fruit, veg, etc.
I do not own a scale, so I have no idea if the weight at the dr. last week was different than pre-pregnancy weight. Today was the first day that I haven't had major bloat - my dress pants actually were almost comfortable. I have bought a few things from JCP and Old Navy, but have not made any real wardrobe changes yet.
I hope everyone is doing well!
I've only gained 2lbs but nothing fits so it feels like a million. Lol
Cravings? BK cheese burgers have never tasted so good and salad and milk or any dairy for that matter. My brother asked if all I wanted for Christmas was gc to BK Lol I said that's this months craving lets see what December brings.
Hey! I'm 9w5d and currently my clothing is fitting just fine. I had gestational diabetes with my previous pregnancy so already I'm trying to keep to a low carb diet and watching my sugars. With all that plus nausea I'm down about eight pounds. My DR really hasn't given a specific number to gain but I'll be honest, I want it to be as minimal as possible. I completely agree with @biggerinreallife on the tanks with shelf bras. I cannot sleep without them. My boobs feel like bowling balls and my nipples are constantly tender.
Glucose test this Wednesday....wish me luck!
I'm not very active these days as I'm exhausted and feeling crummy. Waiting for the magical 2nd tri!

Charlyse I've got a good salmon recipe! Super healthy and tastes like a good alternative to fried fish.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Take a salmon filet and salt and pepper it. Put it on a hot stone or foil lined tray skin side down. Spread the top of the fillet with Dijon mustard. Feel free to go heavy - for some reason you don't really taste it. Take panko breadcrumbs and press them on top of the mustard so they stick. Spray the panko with extra virgin olive oil spray, so they get color in the oven. Cook for 15 minutes until salmon is done and tops are golden. If tops aren't golden put it under the broiler for 30 seconds.
This is great with any side, but our favorite is a quinoa salad with tomatoes and cucumbers.

Anyone taking half Unisom at Night? This has been a life saver for my morning sickness.
my craving is CARBS anything that is carb high, bread, breadsticks, bagels, pasta rice etc.
ps my fave salmon recipe is super easy. you just take a lined pan put salmon skin side down and coat in Italian dressing. bake it and then put it over rice.

I am 6 weeks 4 days due April 30th and I am so sick! This weekend I was unable to keep anything down but crackers! I went to a nutritional class today which was really informative and I definitely suggest it for FTM! For instance, we aren't supposed to eat unpasterized cheese therefore we cannot eat queso! I didn't know that. I ordered some maternity clothes from Old Navy and I am really excited for them to get here. I haven't been craving much due to being so sick, but today I did crave a bagel and cream cheese.

Gee, thanks.
Plus, I've been tracking all my food (even the naughty cravings) on My Fitness Pal, and I've never eaten this healthy before. So they can say what they want, I'll keep doing the best I can to put the "healthy" back into their vocabulary
She also said in front of my fiancé that I appear to be a medical anomaly as she can't understand why my BP, cholesterol and glucose levels are lower than most "normal" women. So in yo face, Nurse!
And that's awesome @oopsbaby14! I ordered a bunch of stuff from Old Navy and it should be here tomorrow. These pants aren't gonna be working out too much longer, lol sigh.
