My car is a magnet for assholes

Less than 2 weeks after my bumper was replaced when some guy rear ended me, a guy backed into my car when I was out to brunch with my family yesterday.

He completely dented my front panel over the drivers side wheel. Luckily he hunted me down inside the restaurant. I guess it helps there were 20+ witnesses eating outside at the time and the guy owns the pizza place next door.

Yay I get to deal with another repair. So excited.

    Time to trade it in! I was about to post a car post.

    In a month we have replaced an altenator, battery, blower motor, and brakes on one car. The other car broke down in TN. We had to replace a belt, power steering pump to get home. We were going to replace the air compressor once we got here, then H's car broke down. My car still doesn't have air. :/ that will be fixed this week. I hate cars

    That's quite about of bad luck, both of you. I'm pretty miffed at my truck right now.... Or maybe I'm miffed at DH. He was driving my truck all day till we bought the new one. There has been an issue with the ABS sensor but we were saving for the new truck. Now that we have the new one, DH is driving that and I am, once again, stuck home because it turns out the other one has a bad wheel bearing. It's hopefully getting fixed this week but I'm still mad.

    I love my car otherwise. I haven't had any mechanical problems (knock on wood) so far. Just stupid assholes who can't drive.

    Here's hoping for no more car problems for either of you!

    Sorry for all your car troubles.

    Mine is in the shop at the moment, but that's because it's getting painted.  Last summer the clear coat started to peel and 2/3 the paint on the hood is gone.  I was to cheap to fix it, but I guess dh got sick of it.

    It helps that I married a mechanic and he does maintenance on the cars (although not the body work side, just mechanical stuff) at his shop, which is where it's getting painted, and he can take home a lot car so we have 2 vehicles still.
