Pack n play

For those who already had their twins do you really need a pack n play? We got a really nice one for our baby shower but I don't think we will use it that much and we are thinking about returning it and getting stuff we really need. I plan on putting the girls in their cribs from day one and we live in a one story condo so the only time I can think we will use it is when we go out of town. It was a 220 pack n play and it seems silly to me to use it only a few times a year when we can get stuff we really need with it.

Re: Pack n play

  • We have the same situation going on - one floor house, the girls will be in their crib/s from day 1, and we can literally see their cribs from everywhere in the house except our bedroom (which is too small to have them in with us).  We got the double PnP - it's in our living room.  It was one of my first big purchases but now I'm second guessing it.  We do travel a bit - so perhaps it'll pay off having it...or when they get big enough we can use it as a ball pit/play pen...

  • My twins have been in their cribs since day one. I actually have 2 regular size pack n plays that we use when we're out of town or when they get babysat at someone's house.
