Baby shower PIP

My shower was yesterday. I was so happy with the outcome. My friend did an amazing job with the decorations and the food.

We had a slightly smaller turnout than planned, but it was nice. We didn't get many gifts off the registry, lots of outfits, and mostly things that we did still need. We actually needed more 0-3 clothes, my sister passed down a lot of my niece's clothes, but I have very few in the smaller sizes, so this was great! Only one duplicate item, a 2-pack of burp cloths, so no need for returns! I will probably return the box of size 3 diapers we got and exchange them for newborn or size 1.

The food was great. We had tri-tip and grilled chicken, corn, several salads (lots of veggies, low carb). We had an ice cream cake for the guests and a small sugar free cake from a local bakery for me that was way better than I'd expected it to be.

We played a few games. Instead of making everyone taste baby food, she had bought 5 flavors that were all similar in color, and had people visually guess. She also had people guess the size of my belly, which I wasn't thrilled with at first but t ended up being really fun. My 4 year old nephew cut his tape waaaay too long (he had also told me I looked 9 months pregnant when I was 16 weeks and not even showing, lol ), while my 2 year old niece cut hers so that it fit around her own tummy. She handed it to me and I held it up to my belly, and declared her the winner! So cute.

I didn't get too many pictures, I was pretty busy the whole time. I just can't get over how cute the decorations were, though.
