About to lose it!!

My dr office called and left me a message saying that the US tech is out today so I won't have my US but should come in for my other appointments. This is my first US that I've been waiting for since I found out I was pregnant aug 4. They say they will just reschedule it like I'm available any time they are. I'm taking a preapproved half day at work today so I could make it. And this is the same office that when I was trying to establish a new obgyn before I got pregnant cancelled two different appointments on me because of scheduling conflicts with the doctor that they forgot about. And the same nurse that told me when I called in with a questionable positive preg test to wait a week because sometimes we just want it so bad that we make things up in our head. I'm ready to say f*** it and get a new doc. Cuz what's gonna happen when I'm in labor. There's only two docs in the office and apparently mine can't get shit together to save their lives. I will be delivering the baby on my own!! so frustrated!!!!

    Yikes! I would feel the same as you! I would say keep your appt with them and scout out a new doc.

    I would voice your frustrations when you're in today and if you don't get an acceptable response start looking for a new dr. With all the appointments you'll need in the upcoming months, you don't want to be rescheduling all the time, especially if you need pre-approved time off at your work.

    This office sounds incredibly disorganized & unprofessional. I'd keep the appt just to make sure you're being seen and try to find another OB as well. You need to be comfortable with your dr and the office since they're all up in your business for 9 months! Good luck!

    Oh and the clinic that did get me in for US is my next choice by location for docs.... So maybe I will scope it out while there :-)
