i should...

... be in bed right now.  but i'll admit i'm enjoying the quiet house right now.  DH did the early shift since i was up for 2 hours with LO late last night and boy was he cranky all day!

And A did well all things considered (1yo shots and no pm nap), but she was just getting into everything and crying/whining when we re-directed her to something else! which was just making DH that much crankier. i even wore her (which i rarely ever do) while i made gooseberry jam to make his life easier.

so now its 10pm and i'm listening to cuthroat kitchen and just enjoying the peace with out a cranky baby or hubby :-) just wish i had thought to grab a glass of wine, but if i start that now the heartburn all night will just be miserable.

anyway, night ladies! see you on the flip side in the morning :-)

I'm in bed, but I should be sleeping! J has been off the last few days. He was without me at bedtime for the first time EVER on Thur and Fri, because DH and I were at a rehearsal and then the wedding the following day.

I don't know if his sleep has been wonky due to that or if it's this sleep regression I've been hearing about. Either way, I'm hoping for a normal night. I-)

  • J is in his crib giggling, and talking. He's been doing this every night for almost a week. He just talks to himself for almost an hour. I don't understand.
  • I'm up now after putting K back to bed. He's been teething something wicked the last few weeks and he wakes up practically inconsolable until we give him Motrin and I hold him for a good half hour until he knocks back out. He only wants me to hold him. Which i think hurts DH a little. Top it off I caught a nasty cold (which rarely happens) and have a full day tomorrow of interviews and mtgs. Which looks like I may have to cancel and call in sick if I'm feeling the same in the AM.

Glad you got a little me time tonight. Now I'm going to try and get some shut eye if I can. I think I'm just rambling now...
