I have a 17 week old, first of all do you all count weeks or months? LOL, I assume I can call her 4 months old now right? Anyways, She currently sleeps in our room in a PNP. She goes down somewhere between 7-8pm, and will wake up somewhere between 2-4am most nights for a feeding, and will almost always go right back to sleep after. I will occasionally change her diaper if I can tell its pretty wet, and we still swaddle her with arms out. She will sleep thru the night maybe 1-2 times a week. I'm thinking maybe its time to put her in the nursery, I was going to wait until she drops that middle of the night feeding but I feel like her being in the room almost makes her expect it?? Maybe if shes in her own room and she wakes she will just put herself back to sleep? Is it too early to drop that feeding? Or should I let her drop it on her own? I feel like putting her down initialy wont be an issue its her waking up in the middle of the night and coaxing her back to sleep without a bottle is going to be hard. Should I just transition to crib and if she wakes for a feeding give it to her assuming sooner or later she will just drop it on her own? Also she will go days with out a BM, last week she went all week, literally 7 days without pooping. I ended up giving her 2 oz of diluted prune juice and that late morning she went. is there anything else that your pedi's have suggested to help get them normal? I feel like pooping 1-2 times a week is abnormal? Am I just paranoid? BTW she is FF on Similac if that matters. TIA for any help or suggestions!
