Today, DH took T out to lunch, just the two of them. I melted. He ordered him his own grilled cheese and everything. Wish I could have been a fly on that wall!
Share your moment, doesn't have to be DH related but I love to hear about good daddies instead of when they are on our sh*t list haha!
Re: Share a moment!
Last night, H met us at the park (after getting the hint that Howell wanted to go to the park) and we went to the Friday night farmers market. Then we went home and made drinks and had a nice family dinner. It was nice.
In the car on the way to the airport in Chicago, I was crying because I was sad to be leaving. I had to sit next to Howell in the backseat and he was patting my arm to comfort me. He's learning empathy
I have a story about my Dad. When I turned 18 my dad was working out of town about 3 hours away. This is something he had never done before. I was old enough to completely understand him not being there for my birthday. No big deal. Well my dad drove the 3 hours home after work to have dinner with us and drove the 3 hours back that night. I always thought it was so sweet!
Both of my sons do the stereotypical "daddy wrestling" time, it is super cute to watch them bond while climbing all over him.
Also, my older DS looks up to him, and wants to be just like daddy
