Consolidating Naps

My DS is just 3 months old. Some days he will take 4/5 naps and some days it is more like 6+. I don't remember when my DD consolidated her naps to 3 on a regular basis but I thought it was sooner rather than later. At what age did your LO start sleeping for longer periods of time and really taking morning/afternoon/evening naps or just morning and afternoon naps?

Still at 4-6 naps for my 4-month-old. I also can't remember when DS#1 consolidated, but I'm sure it must have been before 5 months. I hope this guy gets on board with a 3 nap schedule soon!

DS has continuously taken 3-4 naps a day since birth.

I found we went to a consistent 3 nap schedule around 4.5 months.

Still at 3-4 naps a day for my 6 month old. he naturally wakes up early at 530 or 6am so his first nap of day is 1 hour after he wakes up.

Ds is 5.5 months old amd still taking several short naps a day and it is driving me nuts. My 1st was at 3 naps by this point and on her way to dropping the late afternoon one , so I am in totally foreign territory here
