Hair care NBR

I guess I will be a PW, b/c I am bored, and the board is dead.

 

I just got my hair professionally colored, and I don't want it to fade. I got pureology shampoo and conditioner so it is nice and color-safe. My hairdresser said to make sure that I stay out of the sun, b/c that is when it can fade the worst. Well, next week, we are going on a beach trip. What can I use to cover my hair, without looking weird? Also, any other tips/tricks for color care? What shampoo and conditioner/hair products do you use?

    I think he name is frieda that has sunblock for hair to protect against sun salwater and chlorine as well as Ion products from Sallys or Aubrey's swimmers condish from whole foods. You coukd also put coconut oil on your hair. Thougb depending on the color and your hair coukd fadeit.

    I always just put a little coating of conditioner and throw my hair up before I go in a pool to protect it from the chlorine.
    Currently I use wen and I really like it (my mom purchased a ton and gave me some).  However if money is not an issue I really liked Kerastase shampoo and conditioner, and If I had the money to splurge I would use that brand solely!

    When I get bread...yes bread lol....I plan on using keratase. Their brand us so lush! =P~

    I also have highlights and use pureology :). I just wear a wide-brimmed hat and pull my hair into a ponytail, so very little of it is exposed to the sun.
