Is it too early to be thinking about Halloween? (Rusalka)

Because seriously, once August is over, my brain totally switches into Halloween mode. AND I CAN'T DECIDE WHAT DD SHOULD BE. First world problems, I know. I'm thinking either a cute little fox, like this sweet gal, or Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service:

I really want something that is either cute or cuddly or both. Last year she was an Ewok and it was the cutest ever, so I feel like I've set the bar too high!

My DD's been a chicken both years. Different costumes, though. The 2nd year I made it myself with feather boas, 2 onesies, glue, and fabric batting. I've been looking for more chicken costumes, since this is probably the last year she'll let me decide, but I haven't found any yet.

There was a spaghetti and meatballs costume on zulily the other day that I considered, but then I thought I could do that myself with a fabric mop or yarn and some fabric and batting.

I can't decide either. DH's favorite movie is Raising Arizona and we were thinking he could be Nick Cage's character since we do have a baby this year, but then I can't put DD in a cute little costume.

No way is it too early! I've been thinking about this for a month already! I have no clue what I want B to be.... Also, @RusalkaSings, can you please post a pic of E in her Ewok costume???

I hope it's not too early because I bought Zuzu's costume last year when I was in 2nd tri! It was on clearance; couldn't resist! She'll be a cupcake and I'll be a baker.

I bought DS' costume in July lol It was $10 on clearance and couldn't pass it up. There was never a question about what he was going to be- Batman! I love the idea of an Ewok though.. that sounds adorable!

LOL DEF not too early!! I made DS try on 2 different costumes that my sister had used for my nephews!! LOL, he hated both.. I have a feeling Halloween is not going to be his favorite holiday like it is for me ;-)

@mrsjessicamitchell, here's DD last year as an Ewok! It was THE CUTEST. And an idea I stole from Pinterest. Just a teddy bear costume with a little cowl I safety pinned together. If she were older and grabbier, I would've sewn it together to keep her from stabbing herself. But she was less than three months old, so, still pretty chill.

These ideas are adorable, gals. I love the spaghetti and meatballs one!

Me and my sister were just talking about this today! Our kiddos are 7 months apart so we decided they are going as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell (or Mickey and Minnie if we can't find costumes!)

Definitely not too early! I love the EWOK photos. So precious! Jackson is going to be a super hero! Not sure which one. Since I'll be pregnant once again I'm not sure what ill be. I see the cute pumpkin shirts. Or the baby skeleton in my belly? DH and Jackson and match. Maybe batman and robin. I can't be a pregnant cat woman!
