Baby Bullet to Make Fruit Smoothies?

My parents bought us the Baby Bullet as a babyshower gift a few months before LO was born. I've used it for all of LO's purees during the months that he was eating baby food, but now that he's 15 months I'm wondering if I can't continue to use it for fruit smoothies? Has anyone else tried this and are there any reasons why this would be a bad idea? I just don't see spending money on a brand new smoothie maker if this could work for us. Thanks!

We use our regular blender--if you have one that does the trick!

I don't see why not. We just use a regular blender, so a smoothie maker is definitely not a necessity. I'd try it out and see if you like the texture.

I use our reg blender for smoothies and I share with DS every day. But I have made sauces and tapenade's for our dinners with the baby bullet! HA!
