Any moms out there with kids with OI? Or they themselves? I'm desperate! I have linked with some support groups. Just looking on here too as a different option! TIA
I knew id cross across SOMEONE! Thanks for reaching out. It's such a relief! My 19 month old has (via blood work and genetic testing type iv) but all his doctors put him in the type 1 category because he's done so well. He has had 2 fractures. Has your baby had any to date? Thanks again!
Re: Osteogenesis imperfecta
My 2.5 year old has OI Type 1 (and autism) and her OI is hereditary... My husband and a good portion of his family has it.
Feel free to email if I can help with anything! Hang in there!
