My day in a single picture

We went to the mall today to have N's ears pierced (it's where my pedi recommended us going). She did well, especially since we numbed her ears beforehand with lidocaine cream. I think she felt some in her right but she was fine almost immediately after. Afterward we went to those 50 cent rides where DS slipped on the step and needed 3 stitches. This is now his 4th set in his almost 4 years of life (not including the two surgeries he needed to remove a tumor and fix his tongue-tiedness at 2 years old). On the way to the hospital, we realized in the chaos of our leaving, we forgot both of DS's security blankets at the mall (which may be what DS was crying for at this moment). Thankfully someone turned them in and so we were able to pick them a couple of hours later.

    It sounds like your having a long rough day. Hang on there! Glad someone turned in the blankets and that DS is okay.

    Hmm... Why wasn't the picture taker holding one of the kids instead of watching you balance a bottle under your chin and snapping a photo? lol Well, hope things go better for you today. :)

    DH came back from the restroom and saw me like this. He tried taking N shortly after this pic, but DS was using her as a pillow and wouldn't give her up.
