Might be having a baby...

So I've been in l&d since about 3:30 pm for monitoring of my BP (scheduled yesterday with my OB). I was told I have one more hour for it to regulate before they decide to start the process of induction tonight. I'm 39 weeks today. Only 1 cm dilated and no effacement... Not that it means anything. Basically, if I'm not induced tonight, I will be this week. I'm a *little* nervous. Words of encouragement?

Good luck! I'm sure everything will go well, I was induced with DS and it went fairly well. You can do it, I hope your bp improves though!

Good luck! I'll be induced Mon/Tues but not for BP issues. There are a lot of positive inducement stories in the last few pages if you want to check those out. They helped me to feel good about going in on Monday

Induction isnt a bad thing, particularly if it means a safer delivery for you and the LO. Do your best to rest up tomorrow and think of how wonderful it will be to meet your LO! Blessings to all!
