I did the neighbor a favor and dropped her son off at the High School Football game last night. AND THERE WERE GIRLS WALKING AROUND WITH THEIR PANTS UNZIPPED AND JEANS FOLDED OVER TO REVEAL THEIR UNDERWEAR. When, when, WHEN did this become a "thing?" And how on EARTH is the school administration not putting a stop to it???
DH and I have yet to make schooling decisions for our kids, whether it be public, private, or home school. I can say one thing for sure - we sure as heck won't be staying in this school district.

I was never able to leave the house like that. I changed when I got to where I was going. Teens are tricky.
This. And I am 39. Then again in high school we also wore jeans above our belly buttons, XL mens Champions sweatshirts even though I weighed 97lbs so only in the summer did we show skin. But we would not have been allowed into a game looking like that. Send an email to the athletic director and Principal and see if you get a response.
Actually....I saw this in the mid 80's. Girls would wear boxer shorts, with their jeans unbuttoned with the shorts peeking out. It's not new believe it or not. And 80's fashion is returning.
Also, how is this any different or more shocking than boys with their pants around their knees. Literally around their knees with their asses hanging out?
If that's the case why the sudden outrage? Why point out the girls with their inappropriate attire and not the boys? What effect does attire have on education?
I was also thinking why we're up in arms over the girls, if the boys have been wearing their pants around their ankles (tongue-in-cheek) for years. If I'm not mistaken, it started with Marky Mark and his Hugo Boss underwear gig. And that was like 20 years ago. Oh....and I liked that one very much I did.
