LO was overtired and cranky, and I finally got her to fall asleep in my arms. I handed her to DH so I could eat. He is watching an action movie with a lot of shooting. I turned it down because she kept stirring from the tv being so loud. He turned it back up to near deafening volume. He is now holding an awake, fussy baby.... And I'm not helping him.

Sounds just like my hubby he's got to realize watching a movie quietly is much better than watching it with a crying baby. Good for you for letting him deal with it I wish I could but I can't help but always taking over.

When DH was home for the couple weeks after LO was born, he would do one feeding a night to let me get a little more sleep. However, he always complained that he had a really hard time getting Alex back to sleep. He would be up with him for 2-3 hours. One night I had to pee while he was up doing the feeding. He had every light in the living room on and was watching an action movie on full volume while talking to LO an playing with his feet. I felt like smacking him upside the head.
