Ebf and Weight Gain

For those who ebf or ep, how much weight has your LO gained? Dd has gained 3 lbs since birth. She is 6 weeks old.

Last night, we were giving her a bath and she has a million of those cute baby rolls on her thighs. I love it, especially since she was born skinny. She was born 6# 3 oz, now 9# 3 oz.

Well, my baby is only 8 days old, but by her 6 day checkup she had gained 3oz.

4 weeks old and was 7.3 at birth is now 9.12. Nurse was shocked I'm ebf and she is gaining so well. I was like this child is attached to my boob all freaking day!!! She better have put on some serious weight. I'm with you in loving all the chubby rolls :x

At 4 weeks she gained 2 lb 2 oz. was 5 lb 3 oz at birth putting her at 7 lb 5 oz

@petey1106 I like going to the pedi just for the weight check! It's hard to tell what/if they're gaining when you see them all day everyday.

Born at 7 lbs even. On Tuesday at 5 weeks he was 9 lbs 14 oz. it makes me feel good that he is gaining a good amount of weight. It's so hard to tell if they are eating enough

We struggled with LO gaining back his birth weight the first two weeks. He was born 7lb 9 oz, lost 8 ounces and at three weeks old today, is back to 7lb 8 oz.. Hoping to have some chubby legs in the next few weeks now that we're in a groove! :-)

My LO was 8lbs 10 at birth, 8lbs 4.5 when we left the hospital on a Friday, we had our first pedi apt on Monday and she was back up to 8 lbs 8.5. By her two week apt she was 9lbs 4.5 oz. gaining like crazy and I am EBF.

DS2 was born at 7lbs 10oz and at 2 weeks 1 day old he weighed 9lbs 1 oz!

DD was born 7lbs 5oz. We left the hospital at 7lbs 1oz. Her 2w she weighed 8lbs. And she weighed 10lbs 1oz at her 1m appt. Last Friday.

I am EBF.

DS was 9.8 at birth left the hospital at 8.12 and at 2 weeks he was 10.5.

DS was 7 lbs 13 oz at birth and Thursday was up to 9 lbs at 3 weeks. I only had to do 1 weight check as he was back at his birth weight at his 1 week check up. I'm not really surprised, I have a lot of milk and he eats like a champ!

5 and 5 8 at birth (34w)
6 6 and 7 2 at one month.
9 4 and 9 12 at two months.

Both are EBF.

Oh and I know what you mean about getting rolls! They had chicken legs for so long that I love the baby chunk! I know they're still little, but have been gaining weight like champs!

My eats-like-a-horse LO was 7lb 13oz at birth, got down to 7lb 5oz at the hospital and at 1 week was 8lb 5oz.

She's 2w1d and her first pedi appt isn't until this thursday. I'm anxious to see how much she weighs!

Our LO is the exception apparently. She was 7 lbs 5 oz at birth (6 lbs 13 oz at discharge) and took over three weeks to get back to birth weight. At 5 weeks she's now 8 lbs 6 oz. We EBF but had some trouble with jaundice and LO wasn't effectively transferring. Thank God for awesome LCs since most of the weight gain has been in the last week.

Jasper was born at 7/14, weighed in 7/5 on day 3. Was just weighed for his 1 week and he's now 7/10.5. He's def an eater and I'm sure will be back up to his birth weight in no time!

Sam was born at 8.12. Left the hospital at 7.15 at 4 days old. At 8 days old, he was up to 8.15. Doctor sent us on our way and told us to come back at two months unless we had concerns in the meantime.

LO was born 7 lb 5 oz and at six weeks she weighed 10 lbs 2 oz. and she grew an inch too. So proud of my little chubby girl.

I'm a sucker for baby fat rolls, they are just so darn cute!
