I have one tattoo, but it's super simple. I'm obnoxiously in love with my homestate (Minnesota), so I have the state outline and state motto ("L'etoile du nord" aka Star of the North) on my foot. I've lived in DC/Maryland for the better part of a decade and will likely live here for the rest of our lives (cause of DH's job), so this is a way to celebrate my MN pride

I got it about a year and a half ago, right when I turned 29, and I absolutely love it. DH normally hates tattoos, but he kinda likes this one -- he said it's very "me."

I have 4. 18,21,25,&27. I love all of mine but one. When I was 18 I got one to get one, and need to cover it up but not sure with what. I might try to cover it with my baby's footprint if possible

I have two- a celtic cross just above my hip that I got when I was 18, and the chinese character for tiger (my chinese astrology symbol) on my wrist that I got when I was 19 or 20.

I'd like more, though I haven't been able to pin down anything specific that I want. My husband LOVES my tattoos and wants me to get more, which I think is hilarious because he won't get any.

I have 2- a daisy chain on my left shoulder blade that I got when I was 22, and a red rose on my right shoulder that I got this last summer in New Orleans. This pic was taken at the tattoo shop right after it was finished.

I got a maple leaf with the words Made In Canada on my ankle when I was 16 and a starburst on the inside of my wrist when I was 19. I would love to get the Celtic symbol for family, but I'm outta places that I'm willing to put a tattoo.

I have a poppy on my lower back, I was 22. It's okay, I wish I had put more time into finding a better artist for it.

This spring, I got both my feet done at 32. One foot has an "M" surrounded by apple blossoms. The other foot has a bird with an apple blossom in it's mouth, summer and fall leaves. The "M" is for me, my son, and my father (who has passed) and the different foliage is for each of our birthdays. I love them!

I have "shine" on my left ankle. It is very simple. I got it when I was 24 in memory of someone who was like my little sister growing up who passed away from cancer. She was an amazing person who shined in everything she did. She is greatly missed and I always smile when I see it and remember her.

Just one I got on the inside of my left ankle when I was 24. I've been involved in music (playing instruments and singing) from a very young age so music has always been a very important aspect in my life. I'd be open to more but there's nothing that I want THAT badly right now.

I have 3 I got at 18 and 25. My first is a sun on my upper back with the cancer symbol in the middle. My second is a matching tattoo on my foot that I got with my sisters which is a bunch of lilies with our last name underneath. And my last was a drunken tattoo I got at my friend's tattoo shop party and its a banner on my ankle that says "electric" because the shop's name is Classic Electric.

I have two. I got my first one two days after I turned 18 and my second one just a few months ago. My first one is a Celtic cross on my lower back. I loved the particular design for years and still do. My second one is DS's birthday on my ribs so I'll be getting another one when LO is born! DH got the same one.

I have two and still love both! I got the first one at 19 the second at 21. The first is a humming bird and a beta fish kinda ying-yanging each other with "all we need is love," it means that no matter where two people come from if they love each other it will work! The second is an abigram, it says loyalty one way and betrayal the opposite, in the pic it's backwards, but it is just the mirror! And yes that is baby bump you see

I want more tattoos, I'm thinking of getting lilacs on my foot traveling a small way up my ankle, they are my favorite flower!

I have three. A heart with angel wings on my lower hip/ pelvis area. I don't hate it but I don't notice it ever because its been there so long. Age 18

My second one. Age 23 on the inside arch of my foot the word "believe" I was struggling with growing up and relationships but realized you just have to believe everything will work out and get better because it always does.

My third one- age 24, the word " live strong" on my right wrist. The yellow cancer awareness bracelets I use to always wear but they would come off at work when I used gloves. Cancer has hit my family hard but the hardest was my 33 cousin who had 4 little kids and fought so hard to stay on earth as long as she could. In the last two years I've lost- my aunt, my cousin, two of my uncles, and have a surving other cousin in his 40's.

My first I got when I was about 22, it's a sun and moon design on my right outside ankle. I don't dislike it, but if I woke up tomorrow and it was gone I wouldn't be sad.

My second I was 25, it was a few months after my mom died, it's her initials with a halo above them on my lower back on the right side.

My third I just got in March when I was 33, after our daughter was stillborn. It's on my left inside ankle, it's her footprint with her name and date. I love it but I regret where I got it, I think it would have been really cute to get her footprint ON my foot.

I have 4 but only have photos of 3. Once we find out what we're having I'll start thinking about a design for the 5th. I got the 1st when I was 18, that's the one that's photo-less. The 2nd one on the wrist I was 23. The 3rd one on my back I was 25. The 4th one I got this past February. My husband has one in the same spot only his are 2 old school roses with my name in a banner. I'm excited to design one for Baby M.

I have a few too! I have a piece on my side that is a grouping of flowers and a bird that I got when I was 22. Each flower represents someone important in my life. I also have a spine tattoo that I got at 22 and one on my hip that I got at 23. My first tattoo was the words that are on my side that I got when I was 21 with my sister (it was her 18th birthday). DH has a totally amazing sleeve... If I wasn't a teacher I would so go for something similar.
