For the past week or so, DD has actually been initiating games of peek-a-boo with us! She'll take a burp cloth, book, toy, and on one occasion a tube of diaper cream, hold it over her eyes until we ask, "Where'd Amelia go??" and then she peeks out and starts laughing.
She's also been initiating "so big" since a little before she turned 6 months (although until recently she only did it if she had a toy in her hands to hold over her head, now she clasps her hands together to do it).
She'll be 7 months on Tuesday, I didn't really expect that she'd be doing stuff like that this soon! Apparently (at least according to a quick Google search) actually initiating games like this, as opposed to simply being entertained by them when someone else initiates, is more of a 9-12 month milestone. Just curious if anyone else's LOs are doing this yet? I was getting a little bit worried that DD hasn't had any interest in trying to crawl yet, but now I think I know where she's been focusing her energy lately!
