Another bottle to sippy question

Hi everyone my LO is 13 mos and is used to having a bottle of WCM in the AM when she awakes, before naptime, and before bed. She drinks water all day long out of a sippy but won't touch the milk. How do we phase those bottles out I know she can't down a sippy before sleeptime and perhaps work in the sippys of milk in with meals etc. TIA

Re: Another bottle to sippy question

  • We started the transition with the NUK learner cup sippys because the spout is rubber like a bottle. He had just a real bottle in the morning and night with whole milk and drank water and juice out of the trainer cup during the day. Now (14 months), he has transitioned to drinking milk out of the learner cup in the morning, hard plastic spout sippys during the day with juice and water, and a real bottle at night before bed. Soon, we will be taking away that last bottle. We are just doing a slow phase out so that it doesn't totally send our family dynamic into a tail spin. He has done EXCELLENT with this phase out process but all kids are different. Good luck!
