low lying placenta

Yesterday, at our 20 week ultrasound, we found out I have a low lying placenta. This is my third pregnancy and will be my third c-section and Ive never experienced this with my past two. I know it can cause a c-section which wont be a problem, but has anyone personally gone through this? PERSONALLY..please no horror stories about a friend of a friend or a cousin

I had a lot of spotting in the first few weeks which they said may have been cased by this and that I may have more spotting later because of it, but what else has happened to you? Any change of mood? Any fatigue? Passing out? Early birth? bed rest? hemorrhaging?
Im seeing the Dr. on Monday and will be rechecking US in 8 weeks...they also said it could easily move back up and not cause any problems but I would love to hear your stories.

Most of the time it moves by the time you are ready to deliver. So I wouldn't worry about it at all unless you are bleeding.

I was on the borderline at 20 weeks and they're rechecking me at 28 weeks. My doctor wasn't very concerned and thinks it will go back up and that I'll be able to still have a vaginal birth (FTM). Worst-case scenario is a c-section according to my doctor.

I had the same thing, and by 34 weeks it had moved. I'm sure you'll be fine-GL
