I find I've been more indecisive about what I want to eat since becoming pregnant. I had stronger cravings before my pregnancy. I thought I was going to be out of control. I don't think I've really had a strong craving yet. I've really enjoyed peaches, peanut butter and jelly and scrambled eggs with cheese during my pregnancy. So I put them into my weekly rotation.
Still waiting for that craving you see in the movies or read about in books
@bribbon I have been craving Melting Pot too! DH and I might have to plan a date night ASAP!
I find I am either totally indecisive about what I want to eat-- sometimes to the point I just want to cry. So when I do have an actual craving I try to satisfy it if possible. Sometimes I crave stir fry vegetables, mango pineapple smoothies and onion rings.
In the first tri, all I wanted was spicy chicken sandwiches, and I usually got one every few days because nothing else would satisfy. Thankfully that has tapered off now and I haven't had any urgent cravings that couldn't be put off in a few weeks. Oh, except for the one last week for a grilled hot dog with tons of sweet relish and a root beer. I resisted that one for a week, I think, but when I finally gave in... amazing.
I can't stop thinking about Brie - triple cream Brie on a warm baguette. I've done my research but keep getting conflicting opinions on it so for now I will keep a lonely vigil by the cheese counter and graze my fingers lovingly against it.
All I want is carbs. I have never really liked bread, weird I know, but it was just needed for sandwiches and that's it. Yesterday all I wanted was dinner rolls and butter. I ran to the store after work and immediately ate four when I got home. I might have to polish off the bag this morning
I'm indecisive as well, fried chicken! I try to (ooh, chips and salsa) be good (sausage and biscuts) and balanced (fajitas!). (I had an ice cream sandwich and green grapes for dinner last night...oh well).
I try to hold off. I've wanted a Pumpkin Spice Latte since they became available but haven't gotten one yet. But I asked DH to pick one up for me on his way home from practice. It's cooler here today (only 70 now, with a high of 85) and it just sounds perfect with football.
I'm also craving Mexican and pretty much every item on this week's menu is Mexican inspired.

We've eaten DH's spicy spaghetti 3 times in the past week (plus leftovers the day after...). There's another pound of italian sausage defrosting in the fridge for tomorrow! Thankfully, my craving is also one of DH's favorite foods.
I needed pop secret homestyle microwave popcorn the other night at 9:15 at night.. Even though we have five bags of popcorn and a popcorn maker at my house. Dh was so nice and went to get it for me. I ate the whole bag.
