My daughter is almost 3 and has never had a problem sleeping with her door closed and no night light. We used to lock it when we first transitioned her to a bed to keep her from getting up. For the last 5 weeks, she's been sleeping with a night light and her closet light on, and she screams when we try to shut the door. She wakes up every night now and wants to come in our bed. I'm trying really hard to force her back, but when she wakes up a second time way too early (usually around 5-530a) I usually give in and let her come into bed.
With a 12 week old at home, it's exhausting. Suggestions? Similar circumstances?
