I'm so done

While I want these girls to cook one more week (36 weeks) I am so done.  I spent all night up puking and with diarhea ( sorry tmi).  I have had terrible digestive issues the whole time starting w hyperemesis until 18 weeks.  Today my stomach feels like someone tore it open w a crowbar.  Thier kicks and punches make it ten times worse.  My joints are shot...I had bad knees to begin with go figure.  My carpal tunnel is so bad I cant even pick up my mug of tea which is all I can digest.  Oh little girls I love you but...get out!!!!!
After three miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy we are currently pursuing adoption. " Born not from our flesh, but born in our heart. You were longed for and wanted and loved from the start."

  • You are soooooo close!!!! Super huge congrats on having kept those gals cooking so long, esp after such a hard pregnancy. Soon this will just be a memory & those ladies will be in your arms. Rest up, hang in there, and best of luck with your delivery!!!

  • Oh man that sounds awful. I'm going to quit bitching about my tension headache now. Good luck! Hope you have a quick and healthy delivery!
  • I felt your pain!!! I can so relate. Youre almost there now. I know it doesnt feel like it now but once they are here, you feel so much better...different but better! Hang in there, mama. It wont be long!
  • Awww :( At that point, it becomes about making it through each hour instead of each week. Have you asked your OB if there is anything you can take for any of the ailments?

  • I was just thinking that carrying twins is not for the weak or faint of heart. I'm almost 32 weeks and dreading how I'm going to feel in 6 more weeks and I know I've had it pretty easy compared to other women. I'm so ready to fast forward and have these munchkins here and feel like myself again. Definitely take it one day or one hour at a time!
  • Carrying twins is not easy!  But you are almost done!

@Julie&ndPete - I don't see a ticker, are you pg?  If you;ve had a headache for while, you might want to give your doc a call or get yourself to a pharmacy to check your blood pressure.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

  • I got a final date today which makes me feel better...at most only 13 days to go!!!!! I swear I feel like a beast finishing off this pregnancy....although the next part is apparently the hardest!!!!

I don't know how to do the ticker thing. I'm 13 weeks with modi twins. It's sinus and tension. My doctor knows and my blood pressure is good. It's just my Fall allergy time. Acetaminophen is doing the job for now. A lot of warm compresses and steamy drinks. Thank you for your concern.

  • @heaven22tw I really don't mean to complain on your thread. I am not going through even a fraction of what you are. I apologize. Best wishes to you and your family.
  • You just described EXACTLY what happened to me the week leading up to my water breaking! Good Luck!

  • Hang in there! Just a little bit longer and maybe like most moms after delivery all the weird pregnancy symptoms you developed will be gone! Good luck, hoping you can last just a little bit longer before the real "fun" begins! ;)

  • I'm 37w3d with an induction scheduled for Monday. I can completely relate to all the aches and pains, but then I think of all the MoMs who would have done anything to get to this point. Just try to remember this is very temporary and a small price to pay for heathy, well-developed children. Good luck!
