  6 times in five days, am I reading that correctly?  I would be at the emergency room, personally.  That's way in the danger zone for dehydration.

  Put a Kleenex in the diaper. The Kleenex will be wet if the baby urinates, even if the diaper appears dry. The disposiables will hold more fluid and they may seem dry. Also, every time the baby has a poop, they urinate as well; even if you don't notice.

  We didn't get any dirty diapers from when we went home from the hospital on day 3 to day 5, then my milk came in, and its not an issue. If its been over 36 hours its definitely worth a call to the pedi.
  Has your milk come in yet? Are you feeding him at first stage hunger cues? Is he swallowing or just playing around?
