E-cigs are trashy looking when you smoke them places cigarettes really shouldnt be. I was trying not glare at a patient using one in our hospital. Schoos, offices, and hospitals should still be off limits even though there isnt any second hand smoke.
I think it is tacky for a pregnant woman to post the status of her cervix on FB. Generally speaking, if it is something that would be weird to do while not pregnant (like touching a stranger's belly), it continues to be weird when pregnant.

Neither of us are real dinner people. Well, my h and I decided to go back to our old ways. Starting this past week, I've been cooking for AJ only.

This, especially the e-cigs thing. I saw a lady at the salon the other day with one. I think it's fine if people want to smoke them at bars or clubs or whatever, but while getting your hair done? Seriously? Just looks stupid to me.
Also, my FFFC, to sound off on Dr. Beth. I didn't see the Miley 'performance', but heard plenty about it. Flame away, but I think the whole 'slut shaming' thing is so annoying. She acted out in a sexually explicit way on stage. Why is this shocking and why are people all up in arms about it? Madonna writhed around stage in a wedding dress feigning masterbation while singing 'Like a Virgin'.....and that was 30 years ago! It's the VMAs people, chillax, it's supposed to be 'shocking'. My real problem is all of the "dear daughter" posts that sprang up after the VMAs, blogs informing young girls that this type of behavior is innapropriate. I'm just tired of the double standard that boys/men can behave in crude and sexually explicit ways and no one talks about how they are "damaged" or how it's probably a "cry for help". Although to be fair, her new hairdo might just be a cry for help [:P]

DH has always been pretty easy-going about sandwiches or leftovers for supper, but I've really tried to make an effort to make healthy suppers now that I'm a SAHM, too. I thawed out some ground beef to cook for supper tonight, but I'm really hoping that DH will come home with a craving for pizza or take-out.
Stepper, I saw the performance and thought it's really nothing new for the VMAs.
The VMAs have been a major snoozefest in recent years, IMO. So maybe people forgot that shocking things always happened at the VMAs.
I didn't like the performance but I don't think Miley was a slut because she danced that way.
I do think Miley should keep her tounge in her mouth. I always hated when Jenny McCarthy used to constantly stick her tounge out back in the day. I just think it looks gross.
Sorry guys, I got a little riled up there! I don't doubt that her act was probably devoid of talent and probably pretty gross to watch. Since it aired I've just been bothered by the huge amount of backlash against her. For example, overhearing my office manager refer to her repeatedly as a 'skank', while making no mention of the guy on stage with her, receiving the, ahem, 'twerking'. The double standard that exisits in our society really bothers me.
Ok guys, I'm a total degenerate parent. This evening I took AJ to the dog track. She flippin' loves dogs, however we can't have a dog due to H's severe allergies. She had a riot. My H and I use to love going to the casino, before kids. This was a different kind of casino trip too. (The track is adjoined to a casino.) I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that this isn't her first trip to the track either. Whenever we are in LA, we hit up Hollywood Park. I kind of feel like Charles Bukowski should be her grandfather. We capped the evening off with a trip to Hooters. Yup, it was a whiskey tango evening fo sho. Flame away!

Yea that bothers me too. People were saying stuff like "Robin Thicke is a married man!! How could Miley do that to a married man?? "

We cant stop and Blurred lines are Jack's favorite songs. He was dancing up a storm during that performance. So... someone liked it
