Pregnant after 35

That test that says how many weeks....

Was wondering what anyone else thought about it?  I took it and it says that I am 3+ weeks, which would put me at 5+ weeks in the 'you are pregnant 2 extra weeks to confuse everyone' world.  According to my LMP, I'm not 5 weeks yet.  At my age, the risks of multiples increases.  Being military, THEY determine when you will be seen.  I had to beg and plead to be seen sooner because of my age and the chance that I "feel" like it may be multiples.

Before I go off the deep end about all this prior to being seen - and probably still begging to get an US or blood test for confirmation - has anyone else had unexpected or shocking news from that overpriced gadget?

no, i used a cheapo Equate "3 days earlier" test. lol
Hopefully they will get you in soon and give a dating ultrasound. If you are at least 6 weeks,  you should be able to tell whether it's twins or just one by then.
    Welcome and congrats!

Doesn't that test measure the amount of hcg in your urine? Concentrations, test quality control, plus everyone's differing doubling times: it seems like a lot of variables at play that could affect the results. Early on, that could have a pretty dramatic effect! Even ultrasound dating is plus or minus a few days on accuracy.

I hope you're able to get seen sooner rather than later and find out if your hunch is correct!
