Team Green?

Anybody not going to find out the sex of your baby? We didn't with DD and it was actually a lot of fun. DH didn't want to know. It's a big thing with his family. They all have the opinion that it's like opening your presents before Christmas. It's ridiculous but I went along with it and I enjoyed not knowing until she was born. We'll do the same thing again this time.

I thought about to knowing, but I like to plan and it would drive me crazy that I could only buy gender neutral items. I figure it will be a great surprise at 20 weeks as well so why wait.

We're going to try. We found out for the last two. I'm the very definition of a planner, but want to try to experience the other way. We already have boy and girl clothes. We'll see if I can hold out!

We will probably find out the gender. I don't really want to, but DH does. So I figured what we would do is have a big gender reveal party. It'll be close to Christmas when we will be able to tell, so tie it in to our Christmas party. Of course, someone else will have to plan the reveal part. Lol!

I think we'll do a gender reveal party too! We both want to be surprised at the party so we gotta figure that part out but those parties seem pretty fun.

I am already dying to know! I am planning on taking our families (parents, sisters, and my grandma) to an ultrasound place at 16 weeks and we can all find out together. That's what I did with DD and it was really special. 11 more weeks!

We haven't decided yet. My husband doesn't want to and I do. This is our forth-I found out with the first two and were team green last pregnancy.

We'll be waiting until May. I love the surprise in the delivery room and also how inexplicably pissed everyone gets when you don't find out.

We'll be Team Green again. I loved the surprise after she was born, especially since there were little glitches with her birth, it just made things so positive again. I'm a huge planner, but was able to still do everything, just gender neutral.

With DD, I didn't find out but DH did, and he was sworn to secrecy, so no one else knew either. I'm sure that's what we'll do this time.

Actually, I thought he had never opened the envelope that the US tech gave him. Until the day she was born and he told me he knew all along, I thought he was Team Green too.

We will absolutely find out! I'm super Type A and need to plan. I also like to go over the top for the nursery, so if it's a little girl this time around she will need to have a beautiful, pink, girly nursery!

Also, I think it will make the transition easier for DS if we refer to the baby as he/she or by it's name.

I'm on the fence. Before we got pregnant I was all "We have to know! We have to know!" and now that we're actually expecting, the thought of being surprised is intriguing to me, but the thought of being able to plan soothes my planner type personality. We'll have to see.

We found out with #1 and I wouldn't have done it any other way. I'm super A-type personality and it helped me plan and decorate, etc. I felt totally surprised at the ultrasound when they told us.

This time though, I'm seriously considering team green. We have all the "stuff" we need already in gender neutral and it wouldn't be much to just buy some outfits after if its a boy.

I don't think so. It was hard not knowing, but so worth it.

Last time after delivery it felt like I had climbed Mount Everest and then someone said "Here's a million dollars". Not that it would have mattered if it were a boy or a girl, but just that moment of seeing my baby being held up and them saying "it's a girl" was something I'd never change

I thought for a few seconds about being team green but I just can't do it. We will be having another gender reveal party though. Everyone had a lot of fun at our last one! I am too much of a planner. Plus, I liked being able to call her by her name and say "she" the rest of the pregnancy. I do admire the people who can wait though!!

I have a good friend of mine who went "Team Green" this past year when she was pregnant. I kept telling her I have no idea how they did it!

Our nursery is going to be done in a pretty gender neutral color scheme. The walls will be a light grey and then we are going to accent with navy blue, aqua, yellow and coral. We are not into the pinks, purples, reds, oranges, etc. Even with the gender neutral things we like you would think we could go "Team Green" but there is no way we could make it! We aren't even 4 weeks yet and we are already counting down the weeks until we get to find out the sex of our little bean!

We didn't find out with dd but with this one my dh says he'd like to know. He said it was really up to me though so I said we weren't going to find out with this one either.

I think we're leaning towards finding out, my hubby absolutely wants to know but I could go either way. Though I like the idea of gender reveal party!

I kind of want to be Team Green this time but I don't know if I can hold out. We found out last time and I never got my butt in gear to put together a nursery. Now that we just bought a house, I would love to have a full on nursery ready for #2. We'll see!
