Anyone still have a drooler? When does it stop?

My DS has been wearing a bib all waking hours of the day since he was 3 mos old. ?We go through at least 4 a day. ?I am trying to find hope that he will someday be able to wear a cute shirt with a cute saying that we can actually read b/c there is no bib covering it. ?I guess the alternative is to change his outfit 10X a day, but now that it's cold, that means the onesie gets changed too.?

Please give me hope or at least tell me that you are in the same boat!?

DD still drools when she's teething, which seems like constantly of late. We have molars coming in...

she only really becomes a faucet when teeth are coming in, so like every 2 weeks or so.

Mikey drools when he's teething. He stopped for a few months and now he's drooling again. I think its his last molar that is finally finishing coming in. The front and back tips are already out just needing the-midsection to come all the way in. But watch me be completely wrong and it be one of his eye-teeth coming in.

Paige has been drooling lately because of her molars. Her shirt was wet all weekend! When I was working in daycare I had a 16- 18 mo old that we had to keep a bib on him all day. Per his pedi! The Pedi said when his chest got wet and cold it was causing a bad cough?! WHO KNOWS?! SOunds like a quack to me but I would rather my child wear a bib and change that 3-4 times a day then change his shirt all day long! IMO!

Exact same boat here. ?I could have written this post. ?Ds has had all of his teeth for about 4m now & just WON'T STOP DROOLING! ?I joke that he's too lazy to swallow, LOL! ?Actually, his nose always sounds congested & I think that he just breathes through his mouth. ?I don't know if he has allergies or just small nasal passages or what...the pedi doesn't seem concerned & says that some kids are just droolier than others. ?

Jack was the same exact way. I should have invested good $$$ in cute bibs rather than cute shirts since you never saw his shirt. I was able to stop using a bib when he was about one. The sad news is he's 27m and is back to drooling like crazy. He constantly has his hands in his mouth and he has a big old drool rash spot at the corner of his mouth. He's been drooling like this again for about three months now. I'm hoping he'll stop once his two year molars are in.

Mine are almost 18 months are still wearing drool bibs all day long, otherwise I'd be changing 2 kids 5x/day. I wish I could give you hope that it will end soon... but here we are, still drooling. I hope it ends soon.

DS #1 was that way and it lasted a loooong time. I remember taking him to the Dr. about it around 2 years(I got paranoid when I read it can be a sign of a problem). He stopped shortly there after - basically when I could tell him "you're dripping" and he knew what I meant. I always said it really sweetly so he knew it wasn't wrong, more just a reminder to swallow

He will still periodically have a stream of dribble, but its usually when he's engrossed in something. I know how frustrating it is - some days it felt like everything I touched was drool covered!

Laura my one nephew used to drool like crazy. It was so bad. I've seen Jackson and he doesn't drool half as bad as my nephew did. It did start to slow down after he turned one though.
