...and is obviously a vent post. My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease a couple weeks ago. It stinks because she's always been "young" grandma even though she's 60. It also worries me because both of her parents and her grandmother lived to be about 90, so I've (obviously naively) assumed she would, too. Now, that seems like a cruel thing to hope for her to "suffer" for another 30 years, if that makes any sense.
