    Where are you in your PAL journey? Anna will be 8 months on Sunday, almost 5 adjusted

    What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently? I am so wrapped up in Anna and what's going on with her that I feel I forget Patricia some days. I think of her every day, but lately it's usually it's when I am struggling with something regarding Anna and I just thing "Why me, why us, life isn't fair. First one daughter dies and the next has suffered so much and will struggle with everything she ever wants to do." I don't often let my mind wander and just think of her, miss her and wish she were here and wonder what she would be doing. I miss spending time with just her. 

    QOTW: Has you relationship with your SO changed at all since you started PAL? Yes. After Patricia died and the doctors couldn't tell us what happened, we had so much hope that we could have a normal, healthy pregnancy and baby and continue adding to our family. Anna is wonderful, but she put an end to that hope and added a great deal more fear. We can't picture our family's future and that's hard because we were always dreaming together.

    Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? We have lots of appointments coming up. We have an MRI tomorrow and are meeting with her neurosurgeon, neurologist, and pediatric eye specialist next week. We have been blind sighted before thinking she was doing well only to find out something was going on we didn't know about, so I hope the same doesn't happen next week.
