Cool Christmas ornament/baby keepsake idea...don't even need to be crafty!

So, I saw this on Pinterest awhile back and made it today. It is just a clear ornament ball, and I put in LO's first hospital hat and one of the bracelets. We each had one, so I think it was mine that went into the ornament. Hers is in the baby book. Anyway, I wrote her name and birthday on the outside with silver sharpie. This is the Pinterest picture. The writing shows up better than it does on mine. I thought this was a pretty cool idea, so I thought I would share. What a great way to use some of those hospital mementos instead of sticking them in a box somewhere!

I did something similar for my friends that got married in 2011. I took their invitations and cut them so you could still read the words, curled and shoved in there. Total hit.
