So I don't personally bedshare unless DS is teething and when I do, I only have to nurse him to get him to go to sleep but I have a question for those moms that bedshare and nurse throughout the night. Do you only feed on one side? Or do you roll over with DS/DD and have them feed on the other side if they wake up hungry multiple times in a night? Sorry I was just reading a thread and was wondering the logistics of it.
Re: Bedsharing and Nursing
DS can nurse on both breasts no matter which side I'm laying on, though. I just shift my body so I'm leaning a bit for him to have the top boob. Some days he prefers the top boob, too. Silly kid. :P
When I'm tired of laying on one side, I'll sit up and gently scoot him to where I was laying, and lay where he was laying. Sometimes it jostles him enough that he wants to nurse, but most of the time he just stays fast asleep.
